Home Education Days

Our home education days operate during term time and are strictly limited to 15 pupils per class.

Our HE days run on Mondays during term time from 10:00 - 15:00. We also offer 2 hour sessions. These sessions are drop-off only.

We also offer an adult accompanying class on Fridays 13:00 -15:00.

Rangers will participate in every aspect of looking after the animals during the day, from feeding and cleaning to enrichment and medication.

We do ask that for anyone that feels comfortable (age 5+) to please continue to wear a face mask in our rainforest, to help protect our primates not only from covid-19 but also from coughs and colds. They have been shielded during the pandemic and we are trying to slowly ease them back to normality, without risking their health.

Details

We hold our pupils to the highest of standards and as such, we reserve the right to exclude any pupil who is not respectful to the animals, their peers or their teachers. Pupils who are not respectful will be asked to leave the program and will not be refunded for classes missed.

What to bring

  • If the Ranger feels comfortable, please bring their own face mask to wear in our rainforest.

  • A coat is always worth having as we are outside a lot.

  • Wellies or outdoor boots as it can get muddy.

  • Rangers will need to bring lunch, snacks and a drink.

Booking

Our classes are booked on a first come first served basis. Each session is booked individually.

Please note; once booked sessions are non-refundable.
